In 2017, Hurricane Harvey devastated the Texas Gulf Coast. 177,000 Aggies were estimated to be in the hurricane’s path. Following the storm, The Association stepped in to support Aggies. $200,000 was made available to A&M Clubs in the storm-torn areas. An online forum was created to help facilitate communication. In partnership with the Texas A&M Foundation, 400 scholarships were awarded to students who suffered hardships. And Association staff traveled to South and East Texas to lend a hand …
