Young girls can be more than what society tells them they can be, said Alexandra Chapa '25, who intends to be one of a growing number of women in construction management. Chapa, a big fan of historical architecture, is part of the first group of students who began earning a Texas A&M construction science degree at the university’s Higher Education Center in McAllen.
